Ya know... This kind of thing would be eliminated if we brought back the Fairness Doctrine, but it looks like the Dems have taken that off the table. Rush likes to refer to the Fairness Doctrine as the "hush Rush law." It hasn't anything to do with hushing Rush. In fact, I'd like him to continue with all of his current habits so long as that law is also in effect. Because it is really the "expose Rush as a lying sac-o-s#@t law."

In the preview. There is the "Post A Comment" option there. Turns out it works. I only just learned this. I replied to my tip jar before publishing, too. It even showed up in my comments hotlist pages, even without the diary up yet. I had no idea. Useful if you want to put some links or something that otherwise takes a little time in the tip jar. Who knew?

I'm not going to get into this here this is for celebration, but I'm just going to say I'm sorry, I got e-mails from people congratulating me, and saw it was publicly up on their site, and I think everyone who knows me or knows my writing or my blog knows I wouldn't have jumped the gun if I knew it was wrong. If I was going to do it to get attention, I would have posted it two days ago when I received the phone call. That's all I'm going to say about it, beyond saying I'm sorry.
